A technical package is a blueprint for your design. The factory can develop your design based on your drawings and ideas. A technical package is everything you need to tell your supplier so we can develop your design the way you want it.
So what do you need to build a technical package, I would say you can narrow it down to 5 items. It includes drawings, dimensions, fabrics, accessories and everything the factory needs to know to turn your idea into a product.

The first thing is a drawing, because you are not an illustration expert. You need a hand drawing with a clear description and requirements. All you need to do is let us know what your design is.

The second thing is to measure. Remember, there are no standard measurements. You need to figure out the size of your own customers. Give at least the main measurements, such as garment length, bust, waist, sleeves, etc.

The third is fabric requirements. So you need to make my factory clear about the type of fabric, such as single knit, thickness like 200 grams, color and other requirements. If you don’t know much

about the fabric, I have a suggestion for you. Send reference samples and ask us to source the same or similar fabrics.

The fourth thing is decoration such as zippers, buttons, neck tags, hang tags, etc. Also, if you are not sure, just show pictures to let us know what you want.

The fifth thing is embroidery requirements. Did you know that it is popular to have prints or embroidery on your clothes? Before that, you need to prepare high resolution print or embroidery files. Tell the manufacturer how big the print should be and where to place it, for example 5 cm below the neck.

Why do you need a technical package? Because you need to let your supplier know more about your design.
